Minutes: Bridget Ziegler stated that the Board discussed the superintendent search at the workshop this afternoon about the possibility of adding one more candidate to the finalist list in light of Mr. Rynberg dropping out, leaving us with a list of three finalists. She said she understands there are varying positions on the matter, she believes it is in the best interest of the district that we have more candidates for consideration rather than less. She asked those opposed to adding another candidate to reconsider. Ms. Ziegler made the following motion:
That Mr. Anderson, candidate #42, be added to the list of finalists.
Second: Shirley Brown
Art Hardy stated that the Board could comment if it wishes to, but since this was not on the agenda it would be appropriate to ask if there is anyone in the audience who would want to comment on it before the Board takes action. No comments made. No comments made from the Board.
